What is this chicken egg

Help never seen this before does anybody know what and why this has happened thanks

Sometimes very weird things get produced in a hen's reproductive track. I've seen some very demonic things come out of a hen's butt and get left in a nest. Likely a bit of cast off intestinal lining met up with an egg coming down the chute, and this is the "creative" result.

It will probably never happen again, as most of these apparitions are a one-time event.

Glad you showed this so I don't freak if it ever happens to mine. That would be quite a sight to see early in the morning during egg collection

That is bizarre!
Never seen anything like it, here or online.
Hard to say what that brown thing is...doesn't quite look like poop, or a lash.
Looks like shell was formed around it, leaving a hole in the shell when brown thing was removed??

Was back to normal today so must of been a 1 off
But when I took that lump off the top it was a hole into the egg
Egg was normal so was very strange haha
