When we got this chick, she was your standard "little yellow chick" and, of course, she turned into a white chicken. I figured that she was a leghorn, but she's so small and, last night, I noticed that she has greenish earlobes.

Now I'm really curious.

She's about 3/4 the size of my other girls young girls (all are 19 weeks).

Anyone have any ideas what she might be?

I vote Leghorn. If I remember right my leghorns had a greenish or blueish tint to the earlobes right at the bottom. ( been several yrs since I had any Leghorns though )

I have a Leghorn (brown, not white) with pretty bright yellow earlobes still, at over 1 yr old. My other one has white lobes. Otherwise they look identical, I have no doubt they're both purebred (well, hatchery-quality pure

but pretty good).

Eggsellent! I'm glad to hear my guess confirmed!

I do hope that she gets a little bigger, though... she's so much smaller than the other girls at 19 weeks.
