HELP ME I CAN'T GET DOWN.
"SWEEEEET MYSTEREEEE OF LIIIFE AT LAST I'VE FOUUUNNND THEEEEEE"
Spring time is coming... I feel my hormones rising... I need some Chapbeak... Well, better get some rest, ruling the world won't happen on a sleepy groggy head.
It's just hormones. Both my drakes get it every spring (Tevye a little and Kaine looks like his bill will just fall apart.) Usually goes away by late summer.Ugh. He SO needs chapbeak. I rub a little Vaseline on his bill at night, but the weather here is just so dry!

If it's all year then it's probably something else. None of my 13 girls have it and both of my drakes get like that seasonally. Not Wobs! The red color is definitely hormonal, but his bill has always been flaky like that. Oddly, Bean's is fine. I dunno if it's a white duck thing or what, I know unpigmented animals across all orders tend to have skin issues, and poor Wobs IS a teensy bit inbred given his champion bloodline.
What is Wobs thinking?
