This is one of two unknown breed chicks hatched approx. 13-15 weeks ago. The other one (in background) looks like a giant white cochin, but this one doesn't match any of the breed pictures I've been looking at. Also, we thought we heard some crowing sounds from him (?) last week, but haven't heard them in several days. Appreciate your help.

The bird in question appears to be some sort of mixed breed, probably with Cochin and a red-colored bird crossed in. I think I see some pointed saddle, hackle, and possibly tail feathers, so I think he is a rooster, too.

X 2, are the legs on the red bird as green as they look in the picture?

Thanks for the responses. Here are some other views of the tail feathers and a closeup of the leg that shows its color better.

rooster, not sure on breed, most likely a Cochin cross.
Is he from the same batch of eggs as the white rooster?

Yes, same batch of eggs. I thought the white was was a hen. Do you think it's a rooster too? Here's a better pic of the white one.

The reddish one is a mixed breed rooster, as I stated before. The white one also appears to be a mixed breed, probably with some Cochin or White Faverolle crossed in. The white one is a rooster as well, at least going by comb/wattle development.

X 3 agree on the white one looks to be a rooster also. These guys are probably three or four way crosses, with a cochin in there for one.

I don't have a clue what they are, I gotta tell you though that they are adorable and appear very healthy & happy. I liked the comment about "Sizzles" I had not heard that before. I admit when I hear the word "sizzle" in the same sentence as "chicken" my next thought usually involves "gravy". Lol. We are awful farmers though because we can't bring ourselves to butcher anything. Our hens have become pets and even when they stop laying entirely will continue on as our friends and bug patrol.
