I went to clean the coops as I do bi weekly and found an unusual dropping. My birds have had roundworm before so we deworm annually but I don’t recall seeing this before. Is this larva of some sort or this something else?

East TN, flock of 30, 1 rooster, free choice coop and large run until 6pm then they free rage in my suburban backyard.

Have they been being fed any type of seeds either whole grain feed, scratch or access to any bird seed? It looks like little sorghum/milo seed balls. Could also be little fruit seeds if they have eaten any black berries, strawberries etc.

This is all so nice to hear!! We feed them organic dumor crumble from TSC. They occasionally get raw oats. The do get scrapes that contain seeds (strawberry, watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc).

Well as long as they’re acting fine I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about! Definitely just seeds from things they eat.
