Something felt off about one of the eggs today so I decided to crack it open & found my first double yolk! Exciting but can someone tell me what the heck this is! Is it a worm, an umbilical cord, what!?

I just treated them for worms, well first round of treatment at least. I’m supposed to treat them, wait 2 weeks, treat again & then wait the 2 week withdrawal period before we can eat the eggs again. They’re actually just now due for the 2nd round of treatment. This wasn’t even done because I thought they had worms, it was done as a preventative. If it’s a worm, is it supposed to be moving? Whatever this thing is hasn’t even budged other than when I moved it & spread it out. There’s also little blood looking speckles. I’ll try to get a magnified pic to show the details better.

I know these pics are all very similar but maybe one is more helpful than another. The pic that I have an area circled in red is to show the part that is darker & more red looking underneath whatever this is. It doesn’t show up very well on the camera.
