What Is This In My Duck Egg????

excuse me for not knowing the names of all the parts of the egg, but...

maybe its that little white thing thats always in the egg, But a seriouly abnormal one. (that thing that i think keeps the yolk attached to the white or somehting?)

thats kind of what it looks like to me, but bigger & harder. I also didn't see that in the picture anywhere.

or it could very well be another egg that got stuck inside a newly, forming egg.

Here's a link to a post of a duck that someone culled and it was full of eggs in all stages of development. Still looks to me like this could be an egg within an egg. The one inside obviously in early stages of development.

geosheets--that is a super cool picture. I find it fascinating. But you might want to warn everyone that it's rather graphic!

Oh, nevermind--I had seen it before and assumed you had linked directly to it, but the link takes you first to an explanation, so I suppose by that time everyone will have figured out it's graphic. Just ignore me. I'm babbling.
