So my first hatch has started hatching as of yesterday. So far 7, one of them was having trouble and I kemp myself from helping and after a day he got out fine. Now I am really worried about this one though. He can't walk around like the rest and seems to have a crooked neck; seems as though. One leg isn't functioning. Also this may be something to worry about or it may end up being a stupid question but what is the large red bumb by this little guys bum?

Here are a few pics sorry they were taken with my phone.

Give him some electrolites, there is a thing called "save a chick", I am not sure it it would work but it is the only thing I can think of...

Make sure none of the other chicks can peck at its belly. If its still in bator it might absorb the rest of the mass. If its in with everybody in the brooder put some neosporin on the mass and cover with a bandaid. Some times they make it some times they don't. At our Tractor Supply Store they sell save a chick 3 packets for 2 dollars. You mix 1 pack with a gallon of water. It might be a lot for little chicks but the rest of your flock can drink it to. That's assuming you have a flock. Hope the little guy makes it.
