My hen today seemed off, she laid an egg, it seemed like she was in then nest for a few hours and went back. She has been laying really big eggs for probably almost a year and its always odd looking, today it looks like she did lay, more normal size. She has been laying for about a week after not laying for a few months, she had molted, She came out from laying an egg to hiding in the trees by herself. That was for about 4 hours, we threw grass treats in and she finally came out to have some, however, not earlier when we threw treats in. I just check on the hens, they all went to bed and under this hen she passed this.

There almost seems like there is small bones, like feather small size, fat and flesh, these peices are about 1" in size. . Any ideas would be great, I hope I don't lose her, she is either three or four years old. I checked her vent area looks normal.

That's what I was thinking but maybe it was a long time ago and she passed all the blood already and it was time for some of the innards to be passed.
This is confusing me. Haha.

I don't have the slightest clue what that might be in the photo... but I'd like to know. Interesting. I agree since there is hair, that it's probably something she ate. (mouse, mole, ?)
