My baby Lavender Silkie has a funny lump on its chest below her neck. Baby chick is 3 weeks old
What does this mean? How can I help my baby chick? Will it die?
I believe it’s a rooster but not 100% sure.
Had some poop so I washed it off explains why wet. I’m really worried and attached. What can I do?

Its rather hard to tell on the photo, but I believe this is just the crop of the chicken. Are you familiar with what a crop is?

Ok. A crop of a chicken is a little off center to the chest and is basically a food storage. All your chicks should have this. Every chicken has a crop and it is 100% normal.

Everything is good then. I understand it can be very confusing at first, i thought it was abnormal too until i looked into it when i first got my chickens. Glad your chicken is alright!
