What happened to the chicken?

I never knew for sure which chicken laid it but a couple months later one of the hens I suspected passed a way. The necropsy report showed something like peritonitis but I can't remember if that is the exact name. I have never had it again either.

Oh, so sorry for your loss...at least the other chickens are alright. Hope you don't have any more problems with your flock.
