What is this on my butchered chicken?

FWIW, they weren't hard to wash away... I checked the meat very closely for anything abnormal because I wanted to make sure it wasn't embedded in the meat. Everything looked totally normal so after I washed it, I went ahead and pressure cooked & canned it.
