What is this on my chickens head? Please help!

Hello everybody, today I noticed that my chick Noodle has a black spot behind his comb. He doesn't seem to have any other spots, only that one. Could anyone please tell me, what is this? I have some Pestavert spray, I put some on the spot, but maybe its not a parasite? His cage is close to my quail coop, should I move them farther apart just in case? Also half his beak is reddish, and half is orange, is that normal?

Its a bit hard to tell from the photos, but could it be a peck mark from another chick or adult with a small bit of dried blood?

Hmm...He lives alone right now, but sometimes goes in the quail pen, where he may have been pecked while eating... I'll see if it's healing on it's own.
