what is this on my eggs?

It's just a regular old egg. Not a perfectly washed , handled, and inspected . USDA approved egg. probably will taste like a million bucks. enjoy!

We have a RIR that lays eggs with what looks like red or purple spots on them. There is nothing at all wrong with the egg. You can even feel the spots on them.

A buff orpington laid this egg, however the problem is that these spots are not raised they are smooth, I was under the impression that calcium deposits are raised. My barred plymoth rock has started doing this now too which is why I felt this may be a problem. Thanks again for all of your replys.
