What is this pattern?

Really odd pattern. It appears to be inverse lacing. Is this penciling? Also, is it weird that it's blue?

Can’t tell from juvenile feathering, especially as it appears to be a mixed coloring. Posting when it grows in its adult feathering is best.

I'll wait with you! I have a weird EE this time, too, with what looks like lacing in reverse and excited to see how this comes out. Mine came from a local hatchery in TN. Where did you get yours?

Looks like a Blue-laced Red Wyandotte chick to me. Feathering looks normal at that age.

It's backwards. BLR has blue edges with red inside. This looks like red edges with blue inside.
