What is this rooster?

Anyone have an idea on what mix or breed this rooster may be? He was abandoned at someones house when they left it and they gave him to us. He is very ornery, has had some fights with dogs and other roosters. The only rooster he didn't dominate is my cuckoo maran. He has mellowed out over the past couple of years after he attacked my little Jack Russell Terrier. (didn't go so well for him. never make a jack russell mad)

I thought he may be part old english but his comb almost looks like a cornish. I don't know a lot about chicken breeds but I would like to have some ideas.

games can have other types of combs than just a single

I don't know much about game chickens. Is there any color comb combination that would look similar to him?

can you post a bigger picture? I don't know if he's a game cross, he could just be an ill tempered bird the long squarish shape reminds me of some cornish crosses I've seen.

now that I'm seeing the bigger pic I'm wondering if its Rhode Island Red x Game or Cornish. Hard to say what it really is.

Not much copper but it looks somewhat like some of the Black Copper Maran roosters I have seen.
