What is this Silkie??

Just out of curiousity, why are you saying female? Silkie hens don’t have streamers or a clearly visible comb as seen on this bird.

Hi. I was of course hoping for hen. But noticed the streamers and thought must be Roo. Doesn’t have the hackles like my rooster at all. And there is barely a comb at all haven’t noticed wattles will have to try and dig thru that beard and crest I guess lol

His comb is still visible though; here is a picture of my adult white hen for crest comparison. It is also not uncommon for males to develop/mature slowly.
