What is this strange bumpiness on my BC Maran pullet's eggs?

This one BCM pullet is laying these eggs with strange bumpiness clustered in groups. They are hard round lumps, like calcium, but grouped together. If I chip this off, the shell behind it crumbles.

It's very strange. Anyone have any ideas?

It's a defect in the shell producing part of the tract. It may be caused by illness, or may be due to injury. Is this new, or is she a new layer?

Nothing to do but wait and see if shell quality improves. There are some illnesses that cause permanent scarring to the reproductive tract leaving "pimples", porous shells, thin shells, wrinkled shells....

Thank you!
She's a new pullet, just beginning to lay. She's the only pullet doing this, and hasn't ever been ill. Hoping she works through this.

Those look like they are just calcium deposits, they generally list age/strain of the bird, defective shell gland, and (diet) excess calcium as the most common causes http://www.alltech.com/sites/default/files/alltech-egg-shell-quality-poster.pdf if it is just one bird doing it, would think it is just something going on with her, and not the flock's diet in general..

Thank you! It's only her doing this, and this is one of her first eggs. They have a good diet, so I'm less inclined to think this is the problem.
