This kind of thread is why I'm going to let one of my hens do all the work of hatching for me. Hatching seems like a lot of work!

Hatching is a learned skill! It will take you time to get it down pat.

Yes, you can read too much and spend too much time worrying if you did this or that correctly.

Take it easy next time and don't blame yourself if some of them don't make it. It happens, it's sad, but we must learn and move on.

Good luck with your next hatch, and try not to be a "Mother Hen" over the next set of eggs.
