Thanks!To my uneducated eye, it looks like a long-tailed weasel, or a young ermine (stoat). They're so closely related, they're almost interchangeable. Both turn white in winter, which may explain the lighter brown/reddish coat. And both have a black tip on their tails. Minks are much bigger and have webbed feet - I don't see that in your photos.
