Believe or not, there are people in the universities that are studying silkies becuase they think they are closely ralated to the dinosaur. The feet, the "feathers" the heads and the body strudture is usually pretty different than other chickens.

Look up this on the web and you will be amazed at what these people are saying about the silkie.

Have fun with him. What kind of feet does he have ? Are they silkie feet ?
