We have a friendly lady that looks just like that. She is an Easter Egg Chicken (Ameraucanas/Araucana mix).

also look at this chick. She is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte at about the age of yours

That was my first thought....blrw...

nobody else thinking a blue laced red wyandotte? 'cause i have one and when she was a teenager her pattern was about the same. If he came from a bantam bin he may just be a bantam variety of blrw. legs and comb are right for the breed too.

Looks like a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte cockerel to me, he'll be one handsome roo when he gets older

Yes. I'm almost positive that is a blue laced red wyandotte. Sometimes when people aren't really sure what they're looking at they automatically say easter egger because they can be so diverse. Post updated photos in a week or two.
