What is this?! What can I do to help her!?

My one and half year old hen has this blister frozen looking thing on her wattle. It was not there yesterday. She is still acting normal but

it looks really bad and she doesn't really want me to touch it. What is it? Will it kill her? How can I get it to go away?

To me, it looks like it is bruised. My guess is that another chicken pecked her. She should be fine in less than a week.
