What is this? What is happening? Is she okay?

Does anyone know what this is? My hen has been laying eggs like this (picture below), for a while now. After researching it, it just seemed like a strange little anomaly due to calcium buildup… Today I found an egg that was like it, but sounded like something hollow and porcelain. Upon cracking it open I found hard little eggshell colored balls inside. I’m worried she has a damaged ovary or is laying years worth of eggs in every one.

It's calcium deposits inside, & outside the shell. Usually this means she's getting abit too much calcium somewhere in her diet.

I agree that the bits on the outside are calcium deposits. I haven’t seen the spots inside the egg before. It makes me think about bacteria or infection. Were the eggs collected right away after being laid. What is her diet including any extras? Here are some egg problems and possible explanation:

It's calcium beads on the inside. If they were to separate, & feel them between the fingers it'll feel like sand. I've ate a few before, it's gritty.

For main nutrients they get Cluck & Co. All flock pellets, because they don’t like the chicken specific mix for some reason. For treats they get mealworms, my chicken appropriate meal scraps, and frozen watermelon in the summer. Lots of grass and dandelion greens, kale, some corn, spinach and lettuce. They have a bowl of grit out daily for them to pick at and they get a bowl of calcium and nutritional yeast every other day.
I did pick up that egg as soon as she laid it, it is for sure calcium deposits in it.
