What is this??

Lots of great info on here about candling and recognizing fertilization. Eggs fertilized but collected the same day and refrigerated will not develop any embryos no worries there. It take like 3 days of sitting under a broody to begin a development. I'm sure others can chime in here and give you some links. Good luck rehoming your boys. Considering the breed you should do well. Have a look at some of the sales or location topics. You might find homes there.

You should absolutely be able to find homes for a couple of gorgeous birds like those. They're in high demand, including the roosters, because they're melanistic. It's a pigment mutation akin to albinism but in the opposite direction. Their offspring with other breeds of chicken can be amazingly beautiful.

You're making me want to let some of these eggs hatch! Of course with my luck I'll probably just end up with more roosters lol.
