Wrong kind of gopher. I can run a hose down these all day long they will not come out...these are pocket gophers..not striped or flicker tails

Ohhhhh.... well that's good to know... I have no gopher knowledge... and I'm kind of ok with that... please keep your gophers, regardless of flavor, to yourself!

not to mention the armadillos....

I don't know what the strainer thingie is...I got something similar at a thrift store and use to to scoop/sift poop off the poop boards

... I forgot about them! I saw one of those on the back 40 the other day, and had no implement of destruction with which to pursue it... I was just reading they they are one of the reasons we hear fewer whippoorwills here... they destroy the nests

A pocket gopher trap!..

terrible destructive little rodents most people never see....

We are paid a bounty up here for trapping them.

We don't have gopher's here; we use them for moles.

I gave you a little credit,,,,,very little and said you were close..... BUT we use the spike through the head type on moles. These are so violent, you would not want a dog or cat getting into them. They go 8-10 inches underground so nothing can get in them but a pocket gopher.
