It looks like a tumor or other reproductive tract tissue got sloughed off and incorporated into that egg.

Maybe a lash egg? I've personally never encountered anything like that :/
That would certainly put me off eating eggs for a little while lol

She just laid it this afternoon. She had seemed fine but I haven’t seen her since really

She still seems to be acting fine. I was sure it was a lash egg but she laid today and it was fine
I’m not sure what’s going on.

That actually looks like a fig I have no idea how it could have gotten into the chickens egg though
