Black stars are hybrids, not mutts. This cross produces consistent, predictable offspring, and the parents are known factors. Mutts or mixed breeds are generally not reproducable, or not consistently,and the parentage is usually unconfirmed. This rooster is not a black star/black sex link, those cockerals are barred.

they are sex links and a one time breed i know there are several on here that will say any mutt is a hybrids and in a way it is true
