What is this?

Hello. New here. I am an American living in the Philippines and ran across this beautiful guy on an outing today. I think it must be a breed of rooster, but it has long straight tail feathers. Can anyone identify it for me? Thanks!!

yea thats a red golden pheasant, also called chinease golden pheasants. they are like around 20 to 25 pound each but arnt as good as chickens!

no were near that big I have these, they are 2 lb birds at full weight

I can't imagine this guy getting any heavier than 4-5 lbs, tops....he is very slender, not built like chickens or roosters.
