Hello chicken farmers. I am looking for help in identifying the material that has recently started appearing on my eggs from my Easter Egg-er (see below pic.). The material can be scratched off but can be attached so well it can chip the shell when removing it. In addition I have other hens and none have this issue.

Extra calcium, AKA eggshell. I get it on some of my chicken's eggs. Those are some of the ones the commercial egg producers turn into other egg products, besides the fresh ones that get to the grocery store.
