What is up with her...

I need some help here. My problem is both comical and worrying.

So, our blue runner girl is 11 weeks old. Over the last couple of days, she has developed a behavior that worries us slightly (and cracks me up). When ever one of us comes outside, she loudly declares our presence to the world. Then, she will run up to us and do a ton of head bobbing and rapid fire grunts. Sometimes she will run around us in circles and do it. I mean, this is some seriously animated head bobbing. I will post a video once it is uploaded to my laptop. If I headbob back, it seems to make her more talkative.

What is going on here?

Yes, head bobbing is also mating behavior. You head bobbing back says yes you want to mate with her.

At 11 weeks old I doubt it’s mating behavior. I see my Runners doing this all the time to their drakes an each other I think it’s also a greeting

I agree that 11weeks is young. Mine don't start till 14 to 16 weeks. Which I still think is young but they are hybrids which seem to mature faster.

LOL my little monsters do that also,and if there annoyed at me they line up in a row and put their heads up and down while yelling at me it is hysterical.Or if there in the creek and they don’t want me to look at them they also do that wile swimming in circles,the more time you spend with them the funnyer they are.
