What is up with my Lavender Orpingtons feathers?

Hello! New poster here! I'm somewhat new to chicken raising but this is my second batch of chicks/pullets. This Lavender Orpington has the oddest feathers. I thought as they grew more they would flatten. I love her either way but I'm just really curious. This is her first set of feathers, about 2 months old so no molts yet. The other chicks I got on the same day all have regular looking feathers (Welsummer and Blue Australorp) so I don't think it's feed or deficiency related. Any ideas?

ALSO I need a name for her. Any suggestions?

It's shredding. It's a genetic thing. Often goes along with lavender.

Yeah, both of my lavender Orps have terrible shredding feathers too. Poor chick chicks! They’re still super pretty and full of personality, but it’s a bummer!
