No, that rooster is not supposed to look like that. The hens or a dominent rooster is picking out his feathers. If you ever want them to grow back you need to seperate him so he can grow them back. He is not a leghorn, he is to heavy, if the yellow is his natural color then he is a sex-link or isa brown, if its dirt then it is most likely a white rock. It is also possible that he has mites or lice so you should also dust or medicate him. Feeding him scrambled eggs or yogurt can also help grow his feathers cuz feathers are protien and it will help.

OOH OOH OOH I know.......it's a white, hillbilly, redneck, dirty chicken breed. Bad attempt at humor I know but not as bad as that rooster looks (in front and in back).
