What is with my Duck Hen? Is maybe starting to be broody???

You said broodiness can be contagious well... From 7 this morning to at least 4 in the afternoon Cheri was sitting on the eggs. Jasper sat with her a little but it was mostly Cheri today. In the evening she was off for awhile and I haven't checked since. We will see what happens.
It is contagious!! and nest sharing is popular too.

Yes, Cheri seems to be doing most of it, but yesterday, for example, about 5 she got off and Jasper went on. When should I take the drake out of the pen. Maybe I should stick an ancona girl in and see if she gets it... All those babies!

LOL It is contagious so when ever you feel you want another broody, are Anconas the breed that will brood?

You don't need to remove the drake till hatching starts.

Tag team brooding I love it.

From what I have read, they do about as well as the magpie.

Alright.

It is pretty cute, so far cheri seems to take from morning to late afternoon, and then Jasper takes the rest. When do I know when they have gone fully broody? And about how long will it take them to go fully?

If you have 2 tag teaming I'd say as soon as you see both sitting together on the eggs but they are sitting round the clock now? how many days?

Well, they seem to always be on, except when they are getting a drink or taking a break, they have gotten off and just talked for a few minutes with the drake.. They were doing sitting yesterday and saturday. I'm going to keep an eye on them to see if they are actually sitting around the clock. On saturday I counted 13 eggs, and there were 15 today (I took one out though. It was pretty dirty.) and both of them usually lay every day, so I am guessing one of them (My guess is Cheri) has stopped laying, which I believe means one has gone full?

Yep once they stop laying that is also a good sign. But they maybe letting another one of the females use the nest for laying so have to keep an eye on that too.
