What is wrong with her? Traumatized pullet?

I wouldn't advise adding her with the 6 week old chicks. They could seriously be hurt.
We had tried to introduce her to the chicks but she immediately started pecking at one so we decided against it. Oh dear, will she become a bully for life? I feel so bad for her. Although we are getting rid of the rooster so maybe she will come back to the flock?

Hens lowest in pecking order typically are independent and typically don't respond to alerts. She could be banished from the flock by the dominate hen . May be why she only comes in after dark(avoids conflict)Roosters liked by the ladies sometimes breed the hens lowest in the peeking order .They're usually ignored by the rooster over the flock. (bred by the less dominate roosters)Make sure the hens are letting her eat.
