What is wrong with his feathers?

His wing doesn’t look complete. Looks weird. He also has all kinds of fluffy gray fur patches along his back. Almost looks like he gets jumped on/ beaten up a lot but I don’t really see much scuffling. He is with 7 other chicks his age. I’ll try to get more pictures. Is this normal?

I think it's just his chick feathers are slow to grow out, it happens sometimes.
It’s like new, fluffy feathers are emerging now. Strange looking. It seems to be in a pattern even.

I've had some chicks feather in very odd patterns. How old is he? The juvenile molt can result in some funny looking chickens. I had one BO, last year, feather in like a porcupine. Clusters of down, patches of feathers, and patches of short quills as the new feathers grew in. It could very well be an odd molt. If that's the case, and you look underneath the down, you should see little quills where the new feathers are coming in.
