Her feathers have been like this since spring. Before that she had perfectly normal feathers. I don’t see any bugs/mites/lice on her skin. She’s laying, eating, and overall acting normally. I’m not seeing anyone picking on her. And the rest of my chickens look as healthy as ever. I’m stumped. They all eat the same feed and I give them fresh veggie scraps when I have some to spare.
I built a new coop and run with some younger chicks currently living there but I hesitate to incorporate these gals until I’m sure it’s nothing contagious.
