We put our eggs in my incubator March 8th-9th. They started hatching yesterday, a few hatched and they were fine, but then one hatched and it had a really small red sack hanging from its butt. I just thought it was its yolk sack and went on. The next day (today) there were long stringy things hanging from its butt, kinda like worms. I called my neighbor who used to be a vet assistent and she said it was probally the chicks intestines and that it is probally it was suffering so we put the chick down
Then a chick has been trying to hatch all day, finally tonight this green gunck came out of the egg and I knew the chick was probally not gonna make it. So I cracked its egg so that it might have a small chance to dry off and live. But, now it looks like its intestines are coming out, what is wrong with these two chicks?
