what is wrong with my hen

is this hen going into molt or is something else wrong with her

It looks like molting, but is she getting bullied? The other hens will pull out her feathers. Is she laying? Does your flock have enough protein in their feed? What are you feeding them? What do you give them for treats?

It does look like she might be molting. Is that new feathers coming in that I can see, or is it the bases of the surrounding feathers? I can't tell very easily from these pictures, but she is most likely molting if she is regrowing feathers especially if the loss seemed to happen almost overnight. I find that if their feathers are getting pulled, they often don't regrow them right away, while they will if it is a molt.
