WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY ROOSTER?!

If anyone knows what this is please tell me.Today i picked up my bantam rooster and noticed some of the scales on his legs were pinkish red and soft.He looked like he was in pain. please help me!

What is the best way to treat scaly leg mites?

They have poultry dust at tractor supply that can treat it.

I've heard of people using olive oil, but I haven't tried it my self. Walmart carries a brand that you can spray on your birds in the pet part above the feed.

Hi, you can use vasoline. You want to smother the mites so put it on their legs up to the feathered area no higher. I checked at Fleet Farm and scaley leg mite spray was 12.00 vasoline 3.00. Good luck
