Pls help my rooster Bart can’t move his neck

Wry neck (torticolis) is a common neurological symptom when there is a neck or head injury. Separate him so he doesn’t get picked on close to food and water, and feed him both every 2 hours. Sugar water 1 tsp per cup or electrolytes would be good while he is in shock. I would get some human vitamin E softgels 400 IU and give 1 orally daily, along with human vitamin B complex which includes all b vitamins, and give him 1/2 tablet daily. Let us know how he gets along.

Yesterday a fox attacked my favourite rooster Bart and he has’t been able to move his head since he can move his legs and stand up but his head is limp and I’m worried he can’t eat of drink!
Not sure what to do and my family has already giving up on him I’m the only one who still has hope pls help.
Please help and send any information possible

He is still alive and stands up occasionally but can’t seem to lift his head

I’m not sure but barely any feathers no bleeding or open wounds but a pink mark on his neck and his head when he stands is upside down
Hi @Bob dillian
I'm sorry about your rooster. Can you get a photo of the marks on his neck and head?
I agree, it sounds like he's suffered trauma to the head and you'll want to try to give him supportive care as suggested below (Post#11)

Work on hydration, giving the sugar water as described. I'd re-check over his entire body for any other wounds, abrasions or punctures that may be hidden under his feathers. If you find more, let us know.

👇Follow These Suggestions, they are very good.

He is just resting after a 10 minute drink Bart was gasping by the time I got him out of the chicken pen and into a separate cage.
He is now relaxing and ready for dinner
