This post is not about incubating. But I have a question about what is wrong with the yolk.
Usually I collect our eggs and leave them on the counter until we are ready to wash them. After they are washed I will "candle" them with a flashlight to find any fractures or cracks that I may not see with the naked eye. I have never seen an egg yolk look like this. The egg yolk appears to be made up of little circular cells. *we do have roosters, but all the pictures of fertilized eggs do not match my egg. I don't see veins or large air pockets. Just a mass of little balls that seem to be the yolk. I have searched the internet and I am stumped what this is. I have not cracked it open yet. Any thoughts? Thanks.
