My chicks arrived this morning in the mail, all are healthy except this one. It is very unsteady on it's feet and keeps tipping over, falling down, and holding his head sideways. He keeps tipping over and laying on his back with his feet in the air. When I think he is dead, he perks back up and runs around.

I isolated him because he was getting trampled by the other chicks. I have put electrolytes in his water and given him some yogurt, he seems to be eating and drinking but no evidence of pooping. Any ideas?

It mightve somehow got injured during shipping. You might have to cull. I recommend you call wherever you got them and explain what happened and get a credit for the chick.

I had a chick I hatched do that. I kept checking on it showing it where the food and water were and making sure it was eating and drinking. After 24 hrs. I couldn't tell which chick it was. They are all now 17 wks old.

Thats what happe3ned to mine; tipping over, laying sprawled out, wobbly etc..when I thought he/she was passed on..he'd get up and run a small bit..then start it over again..
We isolated ours too; due to trampling..

then they both passed away...ugh...
