Don't see anything gross, it's just a crushed egg
soft shell? Maybe details on what's "weird and gross" will help.
Here you goIt had a soft shell and brown spots in the egg white I will get a pic
Their is A rooster in their and it has not just started laying it has been laying for a year, The outside of the egg had a weird lump on it so I cracked it open it and it smelled so so gross she layed it today and I watched her lay it I hope she is fine. It's a soft shell egg ... that "spot" looks to be blood
Assuming it's from a chicken that just started laying .... What are you feeding?
Soft shelled eggs due to the need for more calcium ... You could crush up some Tums or Calcium tablets if this is happening often. Oyster Shells in a separate dish would be a good idea also. Layer has "extra" calcium (making it a layer) but sometimes they need more. Having OS on the side they'll eat as they need. I feed FR (higher protien) with OS in a side dish, haven't had issues with shell quality.
As to that "spot" ... Do you have a Roo with the girls? First I thought a "meat" spot which is lining that "sheds" along the way the eggs forming. Closer look, it looks like blood spot, so assuming it's a new hen laying? I'd keep an eye on the one laying it, if it's a new layer it'll work itself out.
