After a near 90% hatch rate for the past month, all of a sudden, I'm having problems. A goose and a silkie both hatched with yolk not absorbed, and a 2nd silkie died in the shell after nearly zipping all the way out. It was fully formed and not shrink wrapped or anything. I have 2 thermometers saying the temp is perfect and the humidity (also 2 hygrometers) is 65%. They were all incubated at 40% humidity. Any thoughts?

I am having issues as well. 0% last hatch, this hatch has been pretty good, but I am Day 21 today and nothing. I candled all before lockdown and had movement , air cells look good. I had between 75 and 100 % hatches the last 2 years and I always calibrate my hygrometers before setting eggs.

LOLs. It is a bit awful. Sometimes I'm not sure I want to keep hatching out eggs.

i try to go into it with no expectations. i feel this helps in case tragedy...not totally tho !
