I noticed this this morning when I let the chickens out. It has been cold and snowy so they have not been out of the run much- we have a large area for our 6 chickens and we keep it and the coop very clean. This is one of our beloved barred rocks! what is going on ? Any one have any ideas and solutions? oh, we have no roosters if that makes a difference!
