What is your chickens favorite treat?

watermelon

I put a slug in the run and mine didn't eat it. Do the slugs have to be little? I am in the pacific northwest, home of the gigantic slugs...

I'm in the PNW too and my girls don't like the slugs either. I really don't blame them though - they're titanic!

However they really like fresh crab, salmon, cornbread, spaghetti noodles, raisins and of course mealworms.

fresh cut grass is their favorite, followed by watermelon, cantaloupe guts, and cherries

My chickens' favorite is CLOVERS. They go crazy for it.

Then they also love small WORMS that I buy for fishing,

The PINE SNAKE we caught in the yard,

And of cource Watermelon
