What is your chicken's favorite treat?

my chcikens favorite treat are live crickets from the local bait & tackle shop. $1.25 for 50 crickets. I tip over the jar that holds the crickets on the floor of the pen. For 10 minutes, it is pure pandemonium!

Second favorite treat is popcorn

our chickens love spaghetti noodles, they go crazy.... and bread

My chickens love pork chops lol. And they also love cheese and sausage. And grapes. They eat about anything.

whenever I cut a watermelon, canalope or honeydew I leave a little meat on the rind, put them in a zip lock bag and freeze it. You can take just a couple out at a time. I don't like wasting anything and the girls love to eat ice cold fruit when its hot out. They also love sweet tea! lol

Cooked minute rice, oats and oatmeal, tomatoes, grass, dandelion leaves, clover, fresh alfalfa cut up. I buy scratch and jazz it up with wild bird seed, extra oats, black oil sunflower and freeze dried mealworms. cooked pasta. tomorrow I'm going to chop up a apple and give that a try. have'nt tried yogurt yet. earthworms and any kind of bug that moves !! Whenever I go visit them they always assume I have goodies !!!!

Mine love leftovers especially with a little protein like chicken or whatever. But we buy sunflower seeds, the black ones, for them because they love those more than anything.
