What is your coop size?

8' x 8' coop with a 20' x 20' covered run and a 30' x 30' uncovered run currently for 6 hens, 2 roos & 2 rabbits, with 4 pullets in the brooder.

I would love to have my girls free range, but the dog across the street has such a high prey drive. I hope the dog doesn't get inside the chicken run. I have seen several baby ducks in his mouth, so I know he loves birds.

Thanks everyone for replying to my post. It sounds like we have the perfect size coop.

. I know some of you have really nice coops. In the future we may build a new one on the north side of the house where they would hang out in the summer time.

Ours is 4'x6' built along the side of a 12'x12'x8' high run. It's almost finished and my 8 banties are waiting! I plan on making another coop and run to move the banties to so that I can put about 9 or so full sized chicks into that coop. They'll be free ranging a lot, so I'm feeling pretty good about having them in there!!

10x12 coop still being built, for 12 girls who have yet to arrive. But I'm going to seperate part of it with a temp wall so I have some storage space. Glad to see some of the heights people posted, I have a 6' back wall and 9' front wall (to get enough drop for shingles) and keep looking at it thinking it's huge!!! Maybe once the roof is on it won't be so intimidating.
