Awww! Probably completely unhelpful, but Dulcinea (Nea for short) is a great girl dog name. Sorry, that is completely irrelevant...

I have 2 beautiful dogs. One of which is a Rat Terrier and her name is Agatha!

I also have a dachshund/beagle mix named Liesel!

I come from a family that is 90% German so we love us some German names! We even taught our dogs some German words!

Anyway, I would suggest giving your dog a name that you may have considered naming your child (s) [if you have any], or a name that you wish was yours. For example, I've always been a big fan of the name "Phineas", so I named my first rooster Phineas.

In the end, it all is up to you, but I can suggest some names if you want me to...

William, Phineas, Seamus...

I'm not the best with names!

Anyway, I wish you luck in naming your new puppy!!!

And bottom is Mischa the Purebred Longharied German Shepherd.
Also have a pup (well senior dog) named Elvis, after Elvis Presley. He's a Yorkshire Terrier.
